Breakfast (4/5): As a Hilton Diamond member, I was entitled to the Continental Breakfast. However, for an additional $15 per person, you can upgrade to the buffet option, and I highly recommend it. The breakfast buffet at Don Manuel's is well worth the extra cost. It offers an impressive spread of options, including a made-to-order omelet station, a variety of fresh fruits, juices, hot dishes, pastries, and more. The highlight for me was the omelet station, where the chef whipped up delicious omelets with a choice of fillings. It's an excellent way to kickstart your day with a hearty and satisfying meal.
Dinner (3/5): For dinner, Don Manuel's is essentially a seafood restaurant, and while the ingredients were undoubtedly fresh, I couldn't help but feel that something was missing in terms of seasoning and flavor. The menu featured a decent selection of seafood options, from lobster to fish, but the dishes seemed to lack that extra punch that would have elevated them to exceptional. The prices were in line with what you'd expect at a high-end resort, so I expected a bit more in terms of flavor. Nonetheless, the ambiance and service were top-notch, making it a pleasant dining experience overall.
Don Manuel's is a beautiful restaurant, and the setting inside the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos is simply stunning. The service throughout both meals was attentive and friendly, which added to the overall positive experience. While the dinner fell slightly short of my expectations, the breakfast buffet was a definite highlight, and I would happily return for that alone. If you're staying at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos, Don Manuel's is a convenient and enjoyable dining option.
