Elixir Tea Bar is undeniably the result of social media hype, making it a prime destination for influencers seeking that perfect shot. The aesthetic décor lends itself beautifully to Instagram photos, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a photo op. However, when it comes to the beverages themselves, the experience is rather average.
One cannot deny the visual appeal of Elixir Tea Bar – it's a feast for the eyes. The thought put into the interior design is evident, and it's clear that a lot of effort has been dedicated to creating a picturesque setting. It's definitely a playground for social media enthusiasts, and the photo opportunities are abundant.
The drinks, unfortunately, don't live up to the same level of excitement. They are passable but lack the wow factor you'd expect from a place that garners such attention. The flavor profiles are rather standard, and I couldn't help but feel a bit let down after all the anticipation.
Another downside was the management of crowds and opening times. Despite the fact that there was a long line forming half an hour prior to opening, the doors weren't unlocked promptly at the scheduled time. The service also appeared to be short-staffed, resulting in longer wait times for beverages. Patience is a virtue, but when you've waited for a considerable period, it can take a toll on the overall experience.
There's talk of a membership system requiring a $100 fee, but its value proposition is yet to be seen. As of my visit, it remains unclear what benefits or perks this membership provides that would justify the cost.
